Over the past decade, Michelle has become known for paintings that capture the imaginative and organic possibilities of abstract watercolor. Powerful and gentle, her pieces evoke a Zen quality of complimentary opposites reflective of her peaceful nature. Her skills in blending color, texture and dimension are not just beautiful, but thought-provoking as well.

Resisting meaning and embracing the unknown, her paintings also represent symbols of the unconscious. "For me, painting isn't about thinking...it's a reprieve from thinking." All her pieces remain untitled so that the path from the artwork to the observer remains pure. Though each painting is her own personal

journey of emotional discovery, she invites the observer to make their own connections and make each piece their very own.

From LACMA to Bergamot Station to many galleries and collections in between, her substantial body of work continues to be sold and exhibited throughout the region. She currently lives and paints in her hometown of Los Angeles, California.
